London Cloud Leaders #9 - From Coders to Agentic Engineers: Securing and Governing the Rise of AI Agents

23 October 2025·17:30
GlobalLogic - 2 More London Pl, London SE1 2AP

Presented by GlobalLogic & Coder

Join us for the next edition of London Cloud Leaders, an exclusive roundtable for senior Cloud and Engineering leaders navigating the future of software delivery.

This time we’re hosted at GlobalLogic’s London Bridge offices in collaboration with Coder, focusing on one of the biggest shifts in engineering since the advent of cloud: the rise of AI agents. As developers move from writing code to orchestrating autonomous systems that can build, test, and deploy independently, leaders face new challenges in security, governance, and accountability.

This roundtable will tackle what it means to become an agentic engineer, directing and governing systems of intelligent agents rather than coding line by line.

We’ll explore:

  • Redefining engineering leadership for human + AI teams
  • Securing systems in an agentic world without slowing down delivery
  • Building trust and accountability frameworks when AI ships code
  • Reimagining the SDLC as AI reshapes requirements, architecture, testing, and beyond

The session will be led by Lorne Stalker, Director of Engineering at GlobalLogic UK&I.

Expect a practitioner’s perspective on how leaders can embrace AI agents while keeping systems secure, reliable, and fit for business-critical delivery.
